Accomplished Projects

  1. Microfinance Project for Buffalo rearing for milk production at "BhatteDanda, Dhulikhel. It is a community support project "– WITH THE HELP FROM "SAGA CHARITABLE FUNDS", ENGLAND. We started in 2007 with seed money of Rs. 300,000 as revolving funds and the project has been grown to approx. Rs. ONE COROR PLUS and is still continuing. Rotarian behind this project is none other than PP Rtn. Krishna Man Ranjitkar popularly know as KM Ranjit. MICROFINANCE Project and is BEING A REVOLVING FUND, it comprises of 3 components namely: - EDUCATION - One Bufallo One Child - INCOME GENERATION & - WOMEN IMPORMENT 14Accomplished Projects:
  2. Scholarship for Nursing Education for RCC BhatteDanda, Dhulikhel for one person – HELP EXTENDED BY MR. TIM BULL from England a good friend of PP KM Ranjit, who contributed GBP 10,000. Nursing course began in 2014 and completed in 2017. The girl who was fortunate to do this course is now serving to the community as a qualified Nurse.
  3. Mr. Allin from England a very good friend of Rtn. KM Ranjit send equivalent in GPB Rs. 2,27,000/- as a seed money for the Construction of Building of Health Clinic and the WATER TANK at BhatteDanda, Dhulikhel.
  4. We also did ANM Matching grant Project at Ghumar Chowk and in Ashrang village in the year 2014. COORDINATE by PP Rtn. Mukunda. 15Accomplished Projects:
  5. Few Free Health CAMPS at Ghumar Chowk and ShantiniKunja High School. It is an ongoing program since 2004/2005.
  6. Toilet Block construction at Suryodya school, Jholunge, Majhi gaon, Sindhupalchowk. Total project cost was 3,25,000/- and was a joint project of RC KL Metro/Malaysia in 2016/2017.
  7. Women’s Skill development program for income generation to marginalized community at Makwanpur District. It was a partnership program with "Shed The Light Nepal" and Australian Rotary Club completed between 2016/2017 till 2017/2018. Project cost was approx. about NC Rs. 9,00,000/-. 16Accomplished Projects:
  8. Rotary School 2 Storied Building at "Shanti Shiksha Mandir Secondary School", Thahiti in Rota Year 2017/2018. Total money spent was around 66 Lakhas - 30 L from RI District 3292 ERRRP funding. - 10 L from RC Singapore - 8 L from RC KL METRO/Malaysia - US 3500 from RC PIATRA ROMANIA - 7 Lakhs RC Thamel - 5 Lakhs from SCHOOL MGM and local community Project INITIATED and COORDINATE by PP Rtn. Chandra Prakash Rajbhandari So, RCT would like to extend sincere gratitude to PP’s SPP/BMSingh/KCM/KUMUD/CP RMS/MADHU/SRT and Rotarian WANGEL Ghale.
  9. We had also done one another TWO storied SCHOOL building at "Shree Bindu Keshar Secondary School" ,Nuwakot FROM THE FUNDS RECEIVED GBP 50,000.00 from Late Mr. PETER CARR from UK a close friend of our PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkar. 17Accomplished Projects:
  10. Construction of TOILET at "Lok Heet primary school", Thamel. It was initiated by PP Rtn. Chandra Prakash Rajbhandari. Donation of Project Fund of US$2000 was received from RCBB Malaysia. The fund was raised by the great effort made by none other than PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkar.
  11. ONE YEAR Rental and other supports together with one Washing Machine was donated to "Manav Sewa Ashram", Samakhushi, KTM during Rota year 2016/2017. It was a HELP PROGRAM initiated by the spouses of RC Thamel, we are very proud that they could extend NCRs. 7,00,00 to this organization.
  12. Establishment of Library at "Shanti Shiksha Mandir Secondary School", Thahiti also by the initiation of Spouses of RCT. 700 plus BOOKS was provided to the school that were purchased and received in donated from the donors. Spouses were able contribute total amount of Rs. 3,00,000 for their mission in Rota year 2018/2019. 18Accomplished Projects:
  13. Water supply project at Devichour, Lalitpur Dist. which is benefitting to 5 villages for total of 500 households and continuing daily water supplies to approx. about 4000 community people. The project cost was approx. NCRs. 600,000 provided by "Yak & Yeti Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., company belongs to SRT.
  14. We are happy to share that we had just helped to 22 families, LAND SLIDES victims of Devichour VDC with food materials from the donated fund of NCRs. 25,000 received from the club members.
  15. We had built a SOLOR POWER UNIT at "ANNAPURNA SECONDARY HIGH SCHOOL" at INBAHAL, JYATHA THAMEL Initiated by OUR CLUB and was able to raised Rs. 8,00,000 from ROTARY CLUB OFOSAKA SOUTH/JAPAN 2014/2015. 19Accomplished Projects:

I AM HAPPY TO SAY THAT OUR CLUB WAS ABLE TO EXTEND EXTENSIVE HELP DURING POST EARTHQUAKE 2015 BY DISTRIBUTING FOOD MATERIALS, CLOTHING, MEDICINE AND JASTA PATA (one and half bundles to 2 bundles to each households) to at least about 300 Households. Total help we could mobilize to the different community at different direction was little more than NCRs. TWO CORORS, out of which RID 3292 ERRRP had reimbursed us about Rs.10 Lakhs, specifically for JASTA PATA for construction of TEMPORARY SHELTERs in our mission. Which was indeed a help in our mission.
  17. SIX (6) UNITS OF BIO GAS PLANTS at DEVICHOUR WAS INSTALLED ALREADY BY THE help received from" Osaka Tsurumi Rotary Club, Osaka Japan in 2018/2019 was approx. 4 Lakhs plus.
  18. 2015/2016, we could omplete Repair Construction Project of "Ratna Rajya Madhemic Vidyalaya School" Building located at Ramkot damaged during 2015 with the help of Rs. 8 Lakhs received from Rotary Club of OZU/ JAPAN. 20Accomplished Projects:
  19. We had extended smaller help here and there. Something that generally come to our mind constantly is for a distribution of Eco friendly Masks to the Traffic police in Kathmandu in 2017 funded by PP Rtn. Rajendra Prasad Shrestha.
  20. Drip Irrigation project at Ghumar Chowk/Sankhu for vegetable farming. It was done under Matching Grant Project together with RC Edmonton Canada, who had contributed Canadan $ 15,000 for this project. Project started in 2008/2009 completed in 2012/2013/ PP Rtn. Mukunda Das Shrestha had taken the leadership to complete this project. We could build 15 Water Tanks in the village and it is serving the water supplies for their Irrigation as well as Drinking and Household need for about 15000 plus people even today.
  21. "Rotary Cares" for needy students in Malaysia. It is a Joint Sister club and is International Project initiated and funded US$ 1000 by PP Rtn. KM Ranjit 2122Accomplished Projects:
  22. MAILI MAYA TAMANG – We feel proud to send FINANCIAL HELP to this unfortunate lady in during Rota Year 2016/2017 -. Total amount we helped in her treatment was Rs. 80,000/-. Out of which we received donation of Rs. 50,000 from Mr. LuxmanRatnaTuladhar who is a long time friend of SRT as well as we inducted him as a honorary member in our club in 2016/2017.
  23. The Bio-gas project in Asrang VDC, Lalitpur, and the Bio-gas Plant in Devi Chour were initiated by Yak and Yeti Enterprises/PP Rtn. Swoyambhu Ratna Tuladhar, along with other international donors. Initiated by PP Rtn. Swoyambhu with his funding for 30 units, a total of 125 units were installed with international funding sources identified by him. Rotaracts helped in monitoring the project. After the earthquake, problems emerged affecting 93 units. After assessment of the damages, the club recently started repairing them. Additional funding sources were to be identified to provide bio-gas plants for the entire 200+ households in the village.
  24. The Disaster Management Program was solely funded by large donations from PP Rtn. Bibhuti, reflecting his commitment to the cause. Initiated with sustained funding by PP Rtn. Bibhuti Man Singh, the program was expanded from ward 17 to ward 30, 29, Jaisideval, and ward 21. The program was to be continued with club funding. Basic First Aid Training was provided for several members of the Rotaractor Club of Thames Int’l College, Interactor Club of JN Memorial School, Interactor Club of Annapurna H. School, and students of Shanti Shiksha Mandir Secondary School, thereby creating a pool of volunteers equipped with appropriate first aid knowledge for active involvement during times of disaster.
  25. The Himal Jyoti School, Bhatte Danda Support Project was supported by the SAGA Charitable Fund and PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkar. The club supported the school by providing funding for teachers' salaries and maintenance of the school building and other infrastructure.
  26. The Scholarship for Nursing Education at RCC Bhatte Danda, Dhulikhel, was funded by Mr. Tim Bull from the UK and PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkar. They funded a girl child, Kalpana Tamang, in Bhatte Danda, RCC Bhatte Danda, for a nursing course and the nurse now assists at the health clinic in Bhatte Danda.
  27. The building construction for the Health Clinic at Bhatte Danda, Dhulikhel, was funded by the SAGA Charitable Fund and PP KM Ranjitkar. The club continued to support the upgrading of facilities with SAGA funding.
  28. The ANM Matching Grant Project was funded by the Rotary Club of Titulingen, Germany, and PP Mukund Das Shrestha. The project funded ANMs at Ashrang village and Ghumar Chowk village in the periphery rural remote part of Kathmandu Valley by funding salaries of nurses at village health posts.
  29. The Free Health Clinic at Ghumar Chowk was supported by remaining funding from a doctor from the UK and PP Rtn. Mukund Das Shrestha. They supported the ANM project by providing additional funding and sustained the free health clinic.
  30. The Toilet Block construction at Suryodya School, Jholunge, Majhi gaon, Sindhupalchowk, was funded by International Donors and PP Rtn. Mukund Das Shrestha. The fund was handed over to Educating Nepal, an NGO, and monitoring was carried out by RC Thamel.
  31. The Women’s Skill development for income generation in Makwanpur District was supported by the Rotary Club of Maleny, Australia, and PP Rtn. Mukund Das Shrestha. It was launched with the partner organization Shed the Light, an NGO.
  32. "Rotary Cares" for needy students in Malaysia was a Joint Sister clubs Project/International Project involving RC Bukit Bintang/RC Thamel and eight other international sister clubs. It was supported by PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkar and was a district project of Malaysian Clubs.
  33. The Rotary School Building Construction and establishment of Library at Shanti Shiksha Mandir Secondary School, Thahiti, was supported by RC Singapore, RC Piatra, RC KL Metro, and ERRRP (RI District 3292), along with the Spouse group of Rotary Club of Thamel. PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkat and PP Rtn. Chandra Prakash Rajbhandari were involved in the project.
  34. The construction of a two-storey building at Shree Bindu Keshar Secondary School, Nuwakot, was supported by the Peter Carr Foundation and PP KM Ranjitkar and handed over to the school management committee.
  35. The toilet construction at Lok Heet School was funded by RI District 3300 and led by PP Rtn. KM Ranjitkar and PP Rtn. Chandra Prakash Rajbhandari and handed over to the school management committee.
  36. Rental support was provided to Manav Sewa Ashram, Samakhushi, KTM, led by the Rotary Anns of RC Thamel, under the guidance of Past 1st Lady Prabha Pandey. The initiative was supported by PP Shankar Pandey and Rtn. Suresh Man Shrestha. Spouses of the members of the Rotary Club of Thamel had collected Rs 500 per month for 1 year, accumulating Rs. 6,00,000/- to support the rental payment of the ashram for a year. RC Thamel had been providing various other kinds of support to the ashram through the contributions of its members and their friends.

  42. Blanket / warm clothes distribution under Nyano Project of Rotaract Club of Thames College / Interact Club Annapurna – to low-income families of Dhanusha District
  43. Support to earthquake victims affected by Jajarkot earthquake –NPR 150,000.00 - (November 2023) – 
  44. Continuous support to feed hungers in Mahalaxmi Than area in Lalitpur – organized by Ms Geeta Shrestha – under the food for hunger program
  45. Support to "Bhagawat Sanyas Ashram – Swargadwari Dham in Pasupatinath Area" to feed sadhus, sanyasis, Gurukul students etc., during the Shivaratri festival – NPR 36,000.00 – (February 2024)
  46. Diabetes reversal talk program organized in Kohiti Bahal, Kathmandu – with Dr. Mrityunjaya Shrestha – (11 August 2023)
  47. Burn awareness raising program in Annapurna School
  48. Flower seeds distribution to Devhichaur Community during Deepawali festival
  49. Support to Mechi – Mahakali Bicycle Race Program – Spinal Cord Injury treatment – NPR 25,000.00
  50. Support to Chepang student through Laxmi Pratisthan – RC Thamel provided NPR 50,000.00 support. But the District refused to accept District Grant Proposal despite meeting eligibility criteria. Hence, complete accomplishment of the project goals could not be achieved.
